Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio BP-120 men’s digital sports wristwatch, a Japan Domestic Market (JDM) model equipped with Module 1101. Released in the 1990s, this was one of Casio’s most advanced innovations of its time—integrating a blood pressure monitor, pulse (PLS), and EKG (ECG) sensors directly into a wristwatch, decades ahead of modern smartwatch technology.
This version features a lightweight plastic case and is fitted with an aftermarket resin strap, as the original strap has deteriorated from age.
The watch is in good physical condition with signs of use, and all features and functions are working properly, including timekeeping, blood pressure monitoring, pulse reading, EKG sensing, and all digital display functions.
Notably, it comes with its original instruction manual and VHS videotape guide, an extremely rare inclusion that is almost never seen today.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
